As anyone who's been around my gallery for any length of time can tell you, I am in love with the Ocarina of Time. So, in honor of the 3DS release, (ignoring the fact that I don't have a 3DS) I am (maybe) going to draw a random OoT scene everyday up to its American release date, the 19th.I really have to start working on these earlier in the day. For most of you, it's already tomorrow.
After a crash course in owl anatomy, here we have... probably everyone's least favorite owl. I like Navi, but even I am not crazy about Kaepora Gaebora and his long speeches. And me, having a tendency to button mash through such things...
I do however enjoy it when he deigns to give you a ride somewhere, down Death Mountain for example. Super fun times.
The image didn't come out quite how it was in my brain, but my low angle perspective skills aren't quite to that level. There should be a greater size difference, and for that I apologize.
...Another thing I really have to do is get a coloring program where the colors in the program look the same outside the program. Ol' KG is looking on the yellow side here, but in PS7 he had more red and blue in his brown. Sigh.

When I encountered him at Lake Hylia, I was trying to get across the bridges. So he offered me a ride, and I was like, "no thanks" and tried to rush past. But then I ran to close to him and he automatically picked me up... So I couldn't even enjoy the ride, because I was so busy yelling "OHNOOHNOOHNO" and frantically pressing every button to see if he would put me down... "lol".

That being said I love the perspective in this. And all up against the sky, and Link's expression.... it's just so joyful.

I'm really into the idea of flight, so flying down Death Mountain/over Lake Hylia was a reasonably joyful experience for me : )

With mild difficulty. I trawled through deviantART's search for "owl," "owl anatomy," and "owl flight," and made some informative sketches, like taking notes. I did a little google-ing too. I didn't find any pictures with quite the angle I wanted, so I just sort of winged it based on acquired knowledge.
