Same one only more techniques, just like last time. Sorry about this one. I wanted to practice cross hatching and pointillism, but I totally stink at both. ‘sighs’ Oh, well, back to the drawing board…BLANKET MEMO; You guys can color any of my inking practices, so long as you give me proper credit as the original artist.

cross-hatching? It's an inking technique that basically uses X's to create a texture. the X's are thicker and darker where there's shadows, and thinner where there's light, to make it appear 3D.

I use needle point pens, mostly, though I am experimenting with quill pens and brush pens with India Ink lately, too.

I took a comic illustration class in high school which taught me everything I know about inking and then some, so that's how I know all this stuff.

ohh i see in my school there's only this manga class or something like that were they teach you to draw manga but it was for only one semester but i couldn't take it

Comic is an advance level class they teach in my school that teaches you everything about drawing and wriitng any kind of comic. I truely adored taking that class...

No, I'm in my second year of college. And I find it easier to work withthinner pens, so maybe you should try an 01 or, if your really brave, an 005

well i'm in my second year of high school and well i find it easier to like start with a wider pen because i can get more practice and well i guess just go thiner and thiner each time i buy a pen...is the .005 really hard to manage?

You have more control with smaller pens, and it's easier to fix any mostakes that may be made. I don't find them hard to manage, tohugh I'll admit that inking takes longer with them.

really i find the bigger pens easier.. maybe i'm not experienced enough yet... well i guess i could try smaller pens. yeah probably because you gotta do ink after ink after ink. i will admit too it takes me quite some time to ink too.

Ooh, sweet. I saw this earlier in fact, love the colored version too, but the original of course is what makes the different versions better (with no offense meant of course to either). I love Sam's facial expression in this one, and the dress is new and unique. Very nice!

Be grateful. We used to have spelling tests in grade school, and my dad used to make me write the words out ten times every single day. And if we got any wrong on the test, we had to write it a hundred times.
