That is absolutely beautiful, I love it. I love D/V, and I wish I could feel true to the characters writing it in a true-to-canon fic.

XD Oh, I dunno, I don't think season 3 completely killed D/V, it just made it much more difficult to pull off in a believable manner.

Heh. My most recent use of it was in my attempt to subvert the trends of most TUE AU's, a fic called Paint it Black , where Valerie, among other things, is one of the reasons things fail to go to hell.

Oh yeah, I kinda worked with that in one of my old stories. Actualyy, I have an old plunny about Val and Dark!Dan having a kid together still gethering dust somewhere... XD

Heh. Mine splits off from both canon timelines- Jazz survives, for one (not that big a leap considering she was in full body armor) and since everything prior to the explosion happened including the meddling, Danny knows enough to avoid the bad timeline. Meanwhile, I squeeze in every plot element I can from the rest of season 2 that makes sense- Including Danielle, who logically speaking would have had to be in conception at the time, and Valerie, who is smart enough to put one and one together when Danny Phantom pulls a disappearing act after Danny Fenton leaves town.

I'm just curious here, but you don't draw characters lying down very much, do you? I'm just saying that because Val's body seems a bit thinner than it usually is. Other than that, Excellent!

A very well done fic, it's got a simple feel to it, but it works great, and i like the scuffs and brusies Val has on her it's true to her character. The poem is good to.

Eh, kinda normal for her character, she is a human going up against super powered beings and only has a normal human healing rate.
