Description
Designed shortly after the Dominion War. The Hornet Class was built from the salvaged remains of the Federation's ravaged Excelsior Class fleet.Someone asked a while ago about how I would design a Federation fleet carrier. Well this is my answer with three fighter bays two in the primary and one in the secondary hulls. Topped with a massive sensor dome on the back giving the Hornet command and control of the battlefield. While being able to launch a great many support craft simultaneously for both combat and relief efforts.

Love your technical work and what a great looking class! I did notice something though. On the aft schematic, the dome seems to be missing. Was it removed for clarity or am I just not seeing it right?
