Ok... no one remembers Captain N 'cause apparently everyone is too young to remember it. So, does anyone remember the old Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon with Sonic, Tails, Sally, and the other Freedom Fighters?? Well, here's a cross-over picture - Princess Sally Acorn and Amy Rose (who wasn't in that show) fighting over the hedgehog of their dreams
UPDATE: 7/2/2009 - I had no idea this drawing would cause such... "controversy". This is one of the reasons I stopped visiting deviantART. Why are people arguing here? This isn't a Sonic fanboy forum. The comments left here should have been for critiquing ONLY. I just sat here reading through post-after-post of people arguing over Sonic trivia and their opinions. The only comments I should have seen are comments stating whether or not you liked the picture and/or what I could have done to improve it. I considered deleting this submission, but since it has so many views and favorites, I decided to keep it. There are many of you who posted legitimate comments... and I thank you.
If I see one more argument flare up here though, then I will not hesitate to remove this image.

I brought this on myself? No, no my friend. It's the haters-who usually hate a character--and not just Sally, but even those that hate other characters like Amy--that brought it upon themselves by hating a character for usually stupid reasons (or that they hate the character because their friends do)...And that, along with supporting hateful opinions, ticks me off. Sure, you can have an opinion, but if it's a hateful one that is biased, then by all means, keep it too yourself (and I am sure you'd say the same too me). Therefore, to end this, I conceed that we agree to disagree, but just because we disagree doesn't mean we can't be civil about the whole thing. Good day!

Hey, I only started this off by commenting on a picture with an OPINION. You started me off by replying when I wasn't even talking to you! Now I didn't actually say ALL reasons in said comment, and half of the reasons I hate Sally aren't hateful. Ya ever think I just might not like the sound of her in general? I agree that we should be civil about it. That's why I'm blocking you now, because I've had it up to HERE with you! You want people to listen to you? Go actually put something in your galler; then you'll get people's respect., not just brand yourself as a guy who starts internet fights.

Gothicruby, I agree. Sonic SHOULD choose Amy 'cause she's a sweet girl. And she's a hedgehog like Sonic is.
And, in my opinion, they'd make a romantic couple.

Ah Sonic SatAM. How could I forget? I loved the pairing of Sonic and Sally. They had such an interesting chemistry together. At least the SatAM characters are kept alive in comics, but these issues the gang aren't the same, especially Sally which she changed for the worse. Yeah, this triangle is always on everyone's mind, which this is just a myth. Though my money's on Sally. I perfer her than Amy. She's too immature for Sonic. Sonic-X Amy is a bit toned down for my taste though.
I assume you never read the comics, otherwise you might put in Mina in this.

I know that show from when I was young....... But then again..... I'm not "adult" just yet.....
That show was on swedish TV not so many years ago... and I had two comics of it..... But that time is passed now

Heh, I remember Sally. Also Antoine, Bunnie Rabbot(now that I think about it, she looks like she was the inspiration for Rouge's character design, sort of.)
