Ok... no one remembers Captain N 'cause apparently everyone is too young to remember it. So, does anyone remember the old Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon with Sonic, Tails, Sally, and the other Freedom Fighters?? Well, here's a cross-over picture - Princess Sally Acorn and Amy Rose (who wasn't in that show) fighting over the hedgehog of their dreams
UPDATE: 7/2/2009 - I had no idea this drawing would cause such... "controversy". This is one of the reasons I stopped visiting deviantART. Why are people arguing here? This isn't a Sonic fanboy forum. The comments left here should have been for critiquing ONLY. I just sat here reading through post-after-post of people arguing over Sonic trivia and their opinions. The only comments I should have seen are comments stating whether or not you liked the picture and/or what I could have done to improve it. I considered deleting this submission, but since it has so many views and favorites, I decided to keep it. There are many of you who posted legitimate comments... and I thank you.
If I see one more argument flare up here though, then I will not hesitate to remove this image.

Archie introduced the squirrel as sally.
SEGA introduced the pink hedgehog as princess sally.
Her name was changed later to amy rose and archie developed her story.
Sally is royalty and Amy comes from outlaws (Rob o' the Hedge)

I know captain N... I used to watch it, but it's been way to long for me to remember any specifics... but yeah... Sonic Sally and Amy always a blast to see. Sonic SatAM cartoon was awsome I remember when it's pilot was shown late at night on a friday and then it was on the very next morning.

I never liked Sally XD Also she's the most naked girl in the entire Sonic universe, she runs around in a vest and boots XD They aged Amy for the Sonic X video games when she became the current and main love interest (In the anime, they actually do kinda get together, and you can get them together in the DS Game Sonic Chronicles) But yes, (sadly in my opinion) Sally and Sonic dated exclusively in the comic and the early cartoons. Good pic ^^

I think Sonic should choose Amy. Sally's just...well, a lot of evil and negative things. Plus; what were thy teaching kids in that cartoon about girls; To NOT WEAR CLOTHES?!?! Personally, I find it sick. GOod pick, nice colouring effect.
