Comparable to the "Faun" that can be found in some civilizations' respective mythologies, Arians are very much sentient, upright walking "sheep" (which they are in fact biologically related to). Known for their primarily agrarian orientation and lifestyles, the stereotypical Arian is a skilled farmer, gardener, wool harvester or cloth weaver, though they are not at all limited to these professions and can be found in various forms of engagement throughout the galaxy. Despite their rural ways however (or perhaps because of them), Arians are also known for their aggressive tendencies and can be fierce enemies should they feel wronged. This has led to many a conflict within and without Arian space, up to and including a great revolution that saw their "Old Kingdom" transformed into the modern Arian Protectorate.
