One of the more ubiquitous races to be found across the galaxy. In the same vein that Arians are compared to "Fauns", Capricorns are widely considered analogous to "Satyrs", if only in physical form. Possessing a natural aptitude toward economics and trade, as well as great intelligence and cunning, Capricorns are renowned businessmen, merchants and tradesmen; indeed, the most common image of a Capricorn is that of a salesman and/or shopkeeper operating in the local marketplaces or shopping centers. In these practices, they are renowned, perhaps infamously, for their shrewdness and their nigh obsessive pursuit of profit and fortune. They can also be extremely vindictive, with Terrans in particular oft comparing them to the character of Shylock from the ancient play The Merchant of Venice. Despite these negative stereotypes and characterizations however, Capricorns are more often than not an essential, perhaps even integral, part of any society and economy that practices free enterprise as their skill in trade and acquisition, alongside their ability to obtain and market even the rarest of goods, are all widely regarded as second to none.
