I grew up watching many cartoons. And I can never forget watching "The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show"... It played every Sunday at 5pm. I loved it... Later on, I forgot a little bit about them.... I still loved them in nostalgia but being in an animation program in college reopened my eyes on those wacky toons. Some of that stuff was truly brilliant. I'm not sure which character was my favourite... perhaps it was Daffy, or Sylvester... Of course, no one can deny Bugs Bunny was the star for good reason... He may have been an unfair bully at times... but he did it with class, wit and charm.

It seems the Looney Tunes find themselves in any of my sketchbooks... No reference is ever used. I like to test my memory. Being enthralled and enlightened in the animation ways, I discovered that each director put a new spin and his own flair on the character. I really dig Chuck Jones' take on Bugs, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. The recent stuff is cool too. I think the recent movies weren't as brilliant as the old stuff but the animation and style is pretty neat.
