Alrighty then. First off, today is the deadline of my contest. I didn't put up a time or anything, so if it's still sunday 11th march, you're safe
Secondly, my laptop is now a complete mess so I "GRAAAAHH"-ed at the stupid piece of electronics, gathered all of my stuff, snarled at my parents who were about to ask if somethings wrong, sat down at my currently dad's/my former regular desktop computer, installed my Wacom, Photoshop, packed out the psd file, and finished it on here today. Oh jolly.
Anyway.. umm.. well.. there isn't too much to say about it really.. It's just a coloured drawing..
Oh! It's not the definate Winter we're seeing here, since I already mentioned I'm trying him out some. Altering a few things just to see how it looks. And, well, it looks like kazoohkahdoodoo. So I'll stick with the one and only Winter design! 
Colours are extremely close to the final Winter though..
Might update this sometime tomorrow. But ah well.. updates about the contest will be done tomorrow!

Great pose and the expression on its face is simply swell. Love the color and shadowing *-*
The background could certainly improove but its the least imp in the pic. Its fine as it is, anyway.
Oh, and I love the way you respect the spines line/path, like they don't look twisted or out of place... and hell thats difficult to acchieve (at least for myself

Well, perhaps you could pay a little more detail, it just looks so flat, but then the dragon looks so shadowed and stuff... is like they dont fit toguether. Like you grabbed a bg and a dragon from diff pics and pulled them toguether
Not sure if I can explain myself
On the other hand maybe that was your intention to highlight attention from us viewers on d drag.

I think I see your point =] I actually believe the background doesn't look too flat, but that the dragon itself gives that interpretation. If it's not for the shading, then for the colouring
