First stab at any kind of art since February. I was attempting to recreate the V4 morph from...winterwolf797.deviantart.com/a…
... with Genesis 2. The V4 version, I think, has a more realistic, unique figure and looks better overall, but she's just a bitch to work with at times.
The character in both images (if you couldn't tell from the folder name) is called Sha'lith. She's another old character of mine, but I hesitate to show off more than portraits of her or discuss too much. She has a great background. I put a lot of thought into it at the time. Same with the fantasy setting she lives in. But the jumping on point for Sha'lith's big story was kind of a "Dark Sun" meets "The Road Warrior" meets "A. N. Roquelaure" thing. And then there were Lovecraftian Cthulu elements and... Yeah, it was weird. But then again it was '92-93 and I hadn't realized yet that the Japanese were waaaaay ahead of me.
Haven't written anything like that in ages. Maybe I just grew out of it. But I still use her name on occasion in video games or give her a passing reference in other stories.
Addon Note: Sha'lith has been many things: a princess, a temple acolyte, a warrior with a notorious mercenary company, and finally queen of a dark empire, ruling over monsters and nightmarish legions. Sha'lith and Kasha (another of my characters) are from the same sword & sorcery setting for short stories - Sha'lith's tales being especially weird and twisted.

None of my writing is posted or published on the internet... not yet. And Sha'lith especially out of all my characters I'm not sure what (if anything) to do with.

I do, I really do. See, I'm a bookworm. I also run a literary cafe for young talents and I guess this developed a sense for good stories. I'd surely qualify yours as such judging on those few excerpts alone. The fact you have developed OCs shows it is an important thing to you instead of a rapid spark of interest that fades easily. In other words, I sense a strong foundation here
