Description
This is a piece I did awhile ago for a show. It's mostly watercolor, but there is some gauche and pen and ink as well as some pencil work. I can't photograph anything so alas, the picture I'm posting looks a little off from the original.Related content

I like the interesting combination of elements from science and the Victorian era. Very cool.

I love the Victorian era. The anatomical sketches from that period have been a big influence to me.

Thank you. The concept is something I plan on expanding on for an independent art study I'm doing for school, so I plan on doing some more stuff along that vein.

I love the merging of skeletons and people. If you like it so much I recommend looking at Takaya Miou (who unfortunately doesn't have a whole lot of work on the internet but I have one of her artbooks, if you like I can scan a couple pages and send them to your notes.) And I also recommend who writes the manga Bizenghast. She has a lot of the same themes in her work too.
