Here is the 2018 edition of the reference of my Sonic FC (kind of), Gareth; it hasn't been updated in ages.I had been debating for ages on whether to change Snakey's eyes to green to match the ring, but I stuck with red. Maybe they turn green under special occasions. I had also been thinking about eliminating Gar's electric powers, but I kept them anyways.

So I've always wondered but have never been able to find the words to ask, are Garth and Snakey two separate living souls in one body or are they one person with two minds? Also, does Snakey eat? If so, does that food go in Garth's stomach or does Snakey have his own stomach?

Garett and Snakey are indeed two souls sharing one body, though Snakey is many centuries older. Also Snakey does not eat.

oooh that's interesting. And the mystery deepens. I didn't want to say it at first but now you've actually made it relate even more. Snakey's like Voldemort? In the sense that he's living off of another living being's body. XD
Also is Snakey not actually part of Gareth's tail? The green ring seems to suggest otherwise.

Very nice reference. All the important information is in the picture, summarized short and sweet X3 Love that it's pointed out his ears are very large - would have thought it was just a art-style choice otherwise.
He kinda looks good being darker gray X3 Makes his eyes stand out more 
Wait- "only one in his family to posess this trait." ??? granted, I just saw Zig-Zag but.. Dagger doesn't have a long tail anymore either? What about his cobra-headed companion
Also, if I may ask... how did you come up with Gar's weight? It's just one of those things I find very difficult to calculate, and it always kind of intrigues me on character references in general.

I really had to slim down how many longtailed characters were in my roster. Thus, the rest of Gar's family have regular ones from now. Companions (now also called guardians) are still there, though I might have to slim that down to two since Zachary and Jennifer (yes, I'm keeping her) are so seldom used at the moment, having four Companions will be hard to keep track of, especially now that I'm actually developing a backstory for Snakey (I will have to change Cobra name, since its ridiculously unoriginal)
i read somewhere that Tails' weight was around that. Since they probably would be around the same age, I used that as a base

(Had to go look in your gallery for Jennifer - didn't recall seeing her before. She's cute btw! 
Yep - it can be hard to keep track of so many characters. It's cool that you're developing a backstory for Snakey ^^
(I thought Cobra was fine, but hey, that's just my opinion XD Whatever floats your boat - I'm sure whatever changes you do to your characters are gonna be good improvements ^_^)
Huh - Tails, eh? Sooo, is Gar younger now too? (I read Tails is 8 years old or so, but could be wrong

Good to see your characters again Eric. Love how clean and professional this reference looks. Honestly, I couldn't imagine Gar without his electrical powers.

I wasn’t expecting you to update your refs, so this was a surprise. Still nice to see your dudes as always, I look forward to seeing the other two. ^^ I should probbaly upgrade mine too soon, they’re starting to look a little meh.
I personally think putting green eyes on Snakey wouldn’t look right, since they’ve been red all this time. Plus, they match his mouth/tongue as well, even Gar’s shoes. What made you consider about getting rid of his electric powers?
So is his tail not 30 ft anymore, is just is what it is? XD

Lack of use in canon stuff. But I changed my mind. And I don’t use specifics on tail length anymore . It’s up to the other person to decide if he or she wants to draw him
