Wait. Lemme explain....Death Note has more crackish pairings than any other anime I've ever seen. And each pairing has a club.
Here are just some of them:
~MikamixRyukFC - Mikami x Ryuk
~melloxlight - Light x Mello (did they ever even meet?)
~EatThemApples - Ryuk x Apples
~MatsuIde - Matsude x Ide
~Near-x-Mikami - Near x Mikami
~LightxRyuk - Light x Ryuk
~Raye-Penbar-Fans - Raye Penbar x nobody at all
So when I saw a new watcher called ~LxDeathNote , I thought twice before clicking on the name, knowing I may well be encountering one of the most bizarre things in my life.

There's so many crack pairings for a series with only about 15 characters with a name.
And that pic up thar is dead sexy. I hope no death-y stuff rubs off on L. Ryuk does say that anyone who owns a death note meets a bad end. And it looks like L is owning that death note hard.

I know, RIGHT? Naruto has what seems like 100s of characters, as does Dragonball and Bleach, and yet I can't think of as many weird pairings in those animes as I can in Death Note.

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. Some of the characters have spent no time in each other's company at all. Near and Light only met on the day Light died, so it makes no sense (unless they slipped in a quickly whilst Light was making his get-away).
