Description
Yeah, I have a slight problem with how autonomous mechanical entities are typically portrayed. More often than not, they are simple villains, blindly playing out our subconscious xenophobia and fears of inferiority. At best, they blunder in as supporting characters, offering comedic relief and the occasional plot device. There are exceptions though. The best in my opinion are Atomic Robo by Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener, and Scud: The Disposable Assassin by Rob Schrab. If you think you're into automata and you aren't reading Atomic Robo, and you don't have Scud: The Whole Shebang in easy reach on your shelf, you should reassess your priorities. Respect and apologies to the respective creators.Related content

I don't think fan art is supposed to be in Robot-drawing-club ...
But even so...
Scud and Atomic Robo crossover fan art. Awesome.
