Yes, I hear you - - Most of my sketches end up scanned and auto-traced; only this past year have I started colorizing in Photoshop, skipping the whole vector process... Need to get back to that! You've got some REALLY cool designs, my friend!

Yeah, I am rather partial to line-art myself. I can manage color, when so inclined, but the simplicity of clean and uncluttered lines is something I find intriguing. Especially with robotic forms.

Well, I start with a pencil sketch, then ink it, then clean it up in Photoshop, then vectorize it in Illustrator. And yes, I am definitely interested in supporting any group of people interested in robotic design. Just tell me where to sign up.
