I randomly got this idea while doing a bit of a review of Kelley Armstrong's The Awakening.Here's an excerpt from it:
When Derek saved Chloe from the street girl with the scar? Did anyone else think of prince Adam (Beast) from Beauty and the Beast?!
What Actually Happened:
Derek: Did I not tell you to stay put?
Chloe: Yes, but
Derek: DID I NOT TELL YOU TO STAY PUT!?
Imagine if you will, Derek cosplaying as the Beast and Chloe as Belle:
Derek: *Slams on the door* I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO COME DOWN TO DINNER!

I was slightly confused by the comic until I got to the last frame and Derek was suddenly speaking in a Beast voice in my head and it all came together. My childhood came flooding back to me. I love it. They totally have the same personality traits.

haha I did think of this!!!! I was like hhhmm beauty and the beast much? and I personally think the beast was hotter and more badass as well the beast. I was just thinking, just wait chloes going to be there when he finally changes all the way, and when he turns back DEREK=SMOKING HOT! I love them so much! I actually wanted them to get together when I read the first book. aww him helping her in the basement. <3

well in the first book there;s this one scene I really like:
[btw, chloe had snuck into the bathroom beforehand]
He pivoted, gaze following me as I crossed to the shower and turned on the cold water so it would drown out our conversation without steaming up the room.
"Great," her muttered. "Now they're going to think we're showering together. Maybe we can just tell them we were washing off the crawl space dirt and trying to conserve water."
I planted myself in front of him. "You lied to me."
He opened his mouth, but, for once, nothing came out and he settled for a token scowl.
I just had the funniest mental image. like, chloe was all 'business' with her hands on her hips and her face all business, and derek's just all comfy, leaning back and rolling his eyes with his hands out or something.

Believe me, if I had the time to do a comic for those books, I totally would. Unfortunately work, school and dreams do not coincide right now hahaa. If I have enough time over the summer I might try and illustrate a few scenes from the books. If you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way
