Nick and Judy never really told her about the.. Bad things about the Night Howlers case. They left out details such as them almost getting iced by a mafia boss, them almost falling to their deaths, them blowing up a train and almost dying… And the press conference. They were very careful not to let Evelyn read about it or see it, seeing how she was a victim of prejudice and bullying herself, just because of what she is.
Judy has always been a beacon of equality in Evelyns’ eyes, so seeing her mother in that situation and hearing her say those words was…. Well, it wasn’t easy. Brought back a lot of bad memories and opened up a number of old wounds. Not something she’ll get over in a jiffy..

Owwww. Not good. But she's a smart girl and has a pretty good relationship with her parents, it seems. Hopefully she'll realize that that was a long time ago, and if her mom was that much anti-pred, then she wouldn't exist. She should be able to ask about it gently. Pity she wasn't a fly on the wall during her mom's encounter with those two ladies about her sleepover..

I sure hope she can get things clarified, sooner rather than later, as this could poison her relationship with her Mom. On the other paw, I could see this being a major heart-to-heart moment for her and Dad.

She should approach her mom about it. As well as Nick. After all, she should understand what happened between the two in order for them to reconcile...and give birth to her.

I can see their point in keeping some things from her but the press conference is public record. She was bound to find out at some point, especially as she gets older and seeing things they can't filter out of her life. One of those tough parental decisions that seemed right at the time but ends up biting them in their amazingly cute and fluffy butts.
