A new look for my sona.
... Yeah, I changed more than I thought I would. Wow... at least I'm happy with it. I always wanted to give myself this "bottom heavy" look, a pear shape, if you wish to call it that. Before, I used to struggle with that, because I didn't know how to do that, but now... I think I nailed it. The back legs are WAY thicker than the front legs, which I like. And I love the fluff. Can never go wrong with the fluff.
The cutie mark... I wasn't satisfied with the past versions. It was... too much. This little guy, on the other hand, I absolutely love. It took a few tries to get a specific shape I like, and it's perfect!
And yes, I am giving her a name this time. Say hello to Ink Drop! I was struggling with giving her a name for a good while, trying to come up with a name that would fit in canon, and that would fit me too. And in the end, I think I got it.

I can understand that too. I've dropped a lot of OCs over the years that I didn't like the design for bc I rushed it or it made no sense after.

Yeah, I have a few of those too. Usually, it was just because a lot of them were Mary Sue's.

Finding that balance for character creation is hard, but I've also that the concept of the mary sue thing is not that easy to avoid. I've come to realize it's about HOW brutal of a Mary Sue your OC becomes. And even then.,.. it ain't fun -3-;

Yeah, true... but I think that I grew enough to realize when I'm making a Mary Sue, and when I'm not. But I only started to learn it after making multiple over powered OC's already, and... I think it helped in itself. I do believe that every artist should have some Mary/Gary Sue's in their life, just for fun.
