Ah, very cool. I may try that. Only thing is I'm really trying to avoid mods until official support is added so I don't have to wait for them to update for every update of Minecraft.

The snow mod doesn't add anything new, so when Minecraft updates, it wont change anything. The snow fall will be gone and there shouldn't be any problems, though you still need the mod loader to use it, which again, shouldn't break your saves on updates.

it was enabled. it lagged like crazy. Considering that it lags on a high end computer.
