Oh, I saw the original painting at London, last september, and I had a great deception: without light, withouf life.

I understand, that is the same thing for Leonard de Vinci, i think it is because of oldness. Have you seen Mona Lisa? Saint John the Baptiste, at Paris? That the same phenomen.

No, I didnt see those paintins, but the worst, in London - The National Galery - was the van Eyck´s Alnolfini. I wrote to the museum, asking What hells happened with the details in the glass on the wall? They answered: The photo has better vision than us. I said: and the photo invent what the painting do not show?
The same in the Bosch´s masterpiece in the Prado, Madri.
I remember: Duchamp gave up about painting when he saw a Monet´s oil completely different of the Monet of his youth. That´s the life.

I did not know for Van Eyck'Arnolfini... What a pity! Duchamp is right (as always, i would say!) A lot of paintings are loosing their details and restaurations can not always give them their youth! So... maybe your Rembrant's version would give to futur generation a view that Rembrant's paintings could be at past years.

It is great you can turn your hand to any style - this varies greatly from you style in the painting "HIS EYES" You have such talent, it is amazing. You are not set in the way that you paint which is really nice. Keep growing, experimenting and improving!!!

Brilliant

" Oh, Rembradnt is impossible to be copied. Impossible. "

That's what I really like about you. You try the impossible and climb clouds.

Great work!

But I can see a diffence in the face from the original. In your portrait his eyes slightly smile.
He seems happier than his original or is it my imagination?
