Interesting choice of color you've got going on here--the pixelated mix of blue and purple makes it ambiguous whether or not something supernatural is taking place (especially with the guy on the rockface appearing to be attempting to appeal to a deity of some kind) or whether the "camera" recording this moment is getting damaged or going haywire due to some other type of human error. (Unless something supernatural/horrific was NOT what you were going for here, in which case I apologize for being so far off. XD)

I didn't go for anything supernatural when I made it, but that doesn't mean you're wrong. One of the reasons I like working abstract is that people see new and interesting things in what I make. I work somewhat subconsciously.

Gotcha. Well, in that case, you did a nice job finding the balance between coherence and open-endedness as far the potential "narrative" structure of this piece goes. I guess I jumped to the "horror" conclusion first because of the pixelated distortion reminding me of modern found-footage flicks that LOVE to have moments where the device being used to "record" the events goes "mysteriously" haywire when something awful happens ("Phoenix Forgotten" comes to mind), as well as the positioning of the rock and the human subject raising their arms towards the sky reminding me of traditional classics like "The Wicker Man" and--most especially--"Picnic At Hanging Rock." (I'm a ratherΒ passionate horror movie buff, in case you couldn't tell. X-D)

Photomanipulations isn't generally a genre that I go crazy about, but I really like this piece. It's a nice blend of photo and digital without any one medium taking precedence over the other. Very nicely done, and awesome palette.Β

I love this style of art! I never heard of it before, but it is just so intense and beautiful! I love the purple and blue so much! I also find it so powerful how the guy isn't morphed from to the glitch.

My glitch-pictures are usually several layers, so the reason the guy isn't morphed from the glitch is because I added another layer with him clear

Glitch art, that is such a creative concept. I've always had a fascination for glitchy things, even though others didn't really get why I liked it. xD Anyways, this is beautiful. <3 It's like a new-age painting. *_* Awesome work!Β Β
