Description
So I actually forgot to post this along with the lineart version previously, so better now than later I suppose.Amelia, while originally an unwilling test subject of immoral experimentation, was never intended to be a cybernetic unit of mass destruction; rather she was a last minute collateral to another project development occurring roughly in the same time as Amelia's torture. That project was her lower body.
The project was under supervision by a robotics scientist by the name of Adam Laufey, a brilliant roboticist and biologist who had been working on Project: Exemplar before being forced to shut it down in favor of the new project. Although Adam and his team worked hard for 5 years, they had reached a dead end. The project had no hope of continuing, that is until Adam started receiving experimentation data from the "labs". With a wealth of new knowledge, Adam produced a deadly machine crafted from cybernetics data, his work on Project: Exemplar and experimentally failed weapon designs in the span of 8 years. The new design was a Multilateral Advanced Weapons Platform capable of performing various roles: infantry, tank warfare, urban combat, etc. As much as the weapons platform was mechanically sound, it was flawed, the problem being it's A.I. programming becoming unstable and destroying itself after intensive testings, effectively becoming insane.
The project had hit a dead end until the labs offered a solution; Use Amelia as compensation to the A.I. flawed programming. At first Adam admitted that it could work, but felt uneasy as to why a specific person. It was then that Adam's heart sank.
The Labs had admitted to Adam that the cybernetic data he had worked from came from experimenting on her. After hearing about this revelation, Adam immediately refused to fuse Amelia with the unstable weapons platform just to complete the project. Having realized he unwillingly produced a war machine from the suffering of a living person, He was heartbroken, but being ordered to place that person into the very reason they suffered for so long made the idea unbearable. But he couldn't act out against them, instead, he agreed to do it, hoping to lead the procedure out of fear of someone less competent doing it, and so he could at least attempt to make the procedure relatively less painful for the tormented woman.
The procedure was an arduous process, taking 2 years to retrofit Amelia's existing cybernetic implants and augmentations to mate with the redesigned weapons platform. Much of the redesign involved adding a life support system that worked in conjunction with the weapon systems installed, new upper armor that matched in protection and abilities of the original war machine, and multiple nervous system adaptions.
The end result was a war machine they had never imagined, a weapon both organic and machine capable of more than what the original weapons platform could ever had done. But in order to fully control her, they had to brainwash her, a procedure that Adam absolutely drew the line at, and effectively quit. But it was during the brainwashing procedure that caused the laboratory accident, where the enraged and near insane Amelia broke out their hold on her and brutally slaughtered every single person that was in her way. A testament to their work that had left near 400 people, both scientists and guards, mutilated and broken with the laboratory being utterly destroyed. Adam only managed to barely survive when Amelia, with her weapons drawn on him, suddenly spared him; An act born out of both an insanity relapse and recognizing that he was the only one who had cared.
So that's a little bit more in depth background to where Amelia's cybernetic body came from, and I had wanted to show what she was originally equipped with when she had escaped; this resulted in a reference sheet for her loadout.
Hope you like it!

What I really like about your design here is that she has point-defense systems. That's a first in scifi armor design for large creatures like centaurs which would logically use them to deal with enemies attacking in a direction that their humanoid body (the part using weapons) cannot handle.

Another curiosity I have in mind: How much electricity does Amelia's body use?

I think I've actually gave an estimate before. Her H-E core can produce nearly 1.5 gigawatts of electricity, though only about 1.4% of that output is really needed ( around 21 megawatts).

Ah I see. So her H-E Core utilizes an external power source within her body's circulation compound?

Well it's not so much a rechargeable battery as much as it is an equivalent of a fusion reactor. It doesn't recharge by external means, but it can for a jump start should the H-E core stop.

Ah. Interesting function it has.
And that's a good alternative to have if her heart/H-E Core goes flatline.

Frankly I'm interested with the tech they will stuff into/onto bipedals now, seeing this universe can build a taur into the equivalent of a ridiculously nimble and stabby Armoured Fighting Vehicle

They'll get pretty hardcore in integrating cybernetics in this universe.

So, pretty much similar equipment can be found in bipeds then?
Seems like the now standard 'infantry arm' would need to rival heavy MG cartridges in potential stopping power ^^'

Well not yet, but soon. Mostly they're still in the external augmentation phase (exoskeleton, etc) rather than outright biological augmentation.

Well, that does little to change the fact that infantry are alot harder to kill now. Add in the fact that most realistic combat has the soldiers very reserved about needlessly exposing themselves, and we're looking at firefights that last hours with few casualties as the norm.
Of course, you have girl's like Amelia who I'm certain would force the issue of you being very dead sooner rather than later~

That's very true, but that's all the more reason why Amelia became a trump card in terms of firefights. Amelia's augmentation would make it unnecessary for her to take cover and easily close the distance between her and her attacker, making cover for the enemy completely useless. So their mentality would have been to fire and survive by escaping. That's where their exoskeleton devices come in.
Ironically, the military exoskeletons that were made to survive against threats like Amelia's new form were derived from Amelia's torture, but have only been produced in a relatively few thousand for a specialist force I'll cover soon.

Wait, her fluffy tail is also a weapon? Hmm, kinda makes sense now.
She certainly looks ready to kill anything that gets into her way, poor soul.
Btw, those wrist daggers, I can't help but wonder, Delta 38?

WMDiscovery93 In reply to LtCWest [2015-02-22 18:34:39 +0000 UTC]
Well, there had to be a way to ensure that Amelia had a full attack range, even from behind, due to the inherent problems with a tauric body; So a prehensile, shape shifting tail seemed sensible. It just happens to look and 'feel' fluffy due to it being connected to her psyche, taking form of her old tail.
Indeed, she's an unwilling weapon designed to kill, a design which, unfortunately, she had unwilling proved.
It's actually funny, because I wasn't actually thinking about the Vibroblade daggers when making those, but can't deny the resemblance.

Yeah, some good thought went into that design. Nice touch with the added psychological effect.
Btw, if I may continue, those dart launchers are probably straight from Iron Man, ey? Not wondering since Amys powerplant design was based on his, if I recal previous notes.

The dart launchers are interesting, because I had thought of a CWIS system usage and elements of the metalstorm weapons put together on a smaller scale; kind of like reactive armor but refined to combat both anti-vehicle and infantry. But again, I can't deny the similarity. ^^

Oh yeah, an ADS working on the metalstorm principle would be hard to evade.

Hmm..I take it that this was the story you came up with a while back in which most of the scientists who experimented on her thought of her as pathetic and all and that was when she managed to go berserk on them. Anyway, I like the reference sheet you came up here. ^^

Pretty much, it's a bit more in-depth to how Amelia's form came to be.

Her Railgun is carried on its own like a shotgun or other weapon would.
I still am wanting to see an interaction between her and her old friend in her NEW HOME as they learn the cold truth of what went on there.
Still like the images as well.

Thanks, don't worry, I will elaborate very soon on that, right now, i'd want to introduce newer characters of Amelia story that play a part in her transformation and her journey. Interactions included.
