My part of an art trade with the amazing
A winter scene of our fav Angbang couple…I mean Angband Lords in a forestry setting.
Doesn’t look half as good as I hoped for, and doesn’t even come close to the awesomeness that is Rae’s part ;O;
But I had fun trying out other brushes than usual and force myself to stick to them.
Also I heavily oriented on the designs that Rae gave the two, though I probably screwed that up, too.
And OMG Melkor will you stop eating his face!!
Anyway, thanks again for that amazing trade.
I hope it won’t be the last one!

Like, seriously, how did you know that I love winter scenes??? I thought about asking for that specifically but turns out I didn't need to since you managed to read my mind. I just adore the scene in totality. Those pretty trees that block in the scene to make it oh so intimate, those painterly pretty fur trimmed robes that are fit for a master and his maia, that snow (because I can't draw snow to save my life!) and the color palette.
And hush, I think you did an amazing job and you did not screw up the designs at all! Melkor has ridiculously long hair and I see a dangly earring from Mairon's ear so I'm happy! I don't think my designs can be messed up by anyone except me.

Well, I guess the Force is strong with me these days. I am glad to hear I could touch your taste-buds with choosing the winter scene. I picked it because it seemed so fitting for those two. Even if Mairon isn't that much of a cold fan, my thought was that he still might enjoy a walk in that eerie silence that snow-clad forests have. You know, with that soft dampening of sounds and the prickly noise of the falling flakes.
(I sure as hell love that about winter)

And omg, no it was not my intention to come close to Klimt's The Kiss, but , it is an honor for me that it come close to one of my absolute favourite paintings out there

Oh it is VERY fitting for them and Mairon can certainly get over the cold to enjoy a winter walk with his master every once in a while. 
Oh you were certainly wrong and your doubts were unfounded. It turned out wonderfully and you kept the designs perfect! Hahahaha! Glad I could make you realize that you were channeling Klimt. That ought to make you happy for a while. ^____^
