Description
One of the main characters in the story, and also the second oldest son of Kodi. He was adopted by a young musician who moved to Nome to find inspiration for his work, and they moved into a lake side cabin in the woods. As a pup Jack developed a love for music, as he listened to his owner play his guitar, and sometimes even provided backing vocals by howling. He can be a little naive at times and can't always tell when someone is being honest with him or not, and he can easily be pursued into things, but his heart is in the right place, he is extremely loyal and would never let a friend down. One day whilst playing in the woods Jack came across a wolf pup around his age, who had his leg caught in a hunter's trap. He went to get his owner, who got the wolf pup out if the trap, took him home and treated his leg, and ended up keeping him, since he didn't seem to have any parents or a pack. And from that on Jack and the wolf pup, who was named Kuro, became the best of friends, almost like brothers. As they grow into adults, Kuro returns to live in the wild, but some time after, the two run into each other again and Jack learns that Kuro has formed a group of rebels to fight an evil wolf who has taken over a small valley, and joins Kuro's group to assist his friend in his quest for justice.
