Guessing Game

It is a nice afternoon at the Wolf Family house. In the Living room, Cindy is sitting on the couch while Whitnee Squirrel is sitting on a cushion chair.

WHITNEE

Thanks for letting me come visit Cindy. My sister and mom are at the movies. They're seeing the same one I already saw with them so they're okay with me not going with them this time.

CINDY

Ain't no problem. My ma and pa are goin' with Tom to start Christmas shoppin'. I'm almost done with mine.

WHITNEE

Cool. So what did you want to do?

CINDY

I done come up a great idea. Somethin' that would be really fun.

WHITNEE

Cool. What is it?

CINDY

First (gets up and blindfolds Whitnee's eyes with a hanker chef) blindfold ya with this.

WHITNEE

Uh okay. Now what?

CINDY

Just a sec. I just need to (takes a foot stool and gently puts Whitnee's foot paws on the stool) put yer paws on this here foot stool.

She leans next to Whitnee's foot paws.

CINDY

Now I'm goin' to tickle your foot paws with somethin' and y'all need to guess what it is.

WHITNEE

That does sound fun.

Nothing happens for a second. Then we see a tongue starting to lick Whitnee's paw. As soon as Whitnee she laughs.

CINDY

Can ya guess what it is?

WHITNEE

It Hee Hee feels wet, and ha ha sandpaper. Is it ha ha a tongue?

CINDY

Yup, but it ain't mine.

Whitnee lifts the blindfold and sees Cindy's pet goat Bango is the one licking her paws.

WHITNEE

It's Bango. Ha ha that silly goat.

CINDY

That's right. Okay (gently taps Bango's head which tells him to stop licking) Bango, that's enough lickin' fer now. Go on and play outside.

Bango walks out of the room happily. Cindy wipes Whitnee's paws.

CINDY

Okay. Now we'll try something simpler.

WHITNEE

Cool.

Whitnee puts the blindfold back on. A second later we see a paintbrush brushing against the sole of Whitnee's paws. Whitnee starts laughing after she feels it.

CINDY

Can ya guess what it is now?

WHITNEE

It ha ha ha feels almost Hee hee brushy and nice. Is it a brush?

CINDY

Close, but it's somethin' where ya dip paint on it.

WHITNEE

Okay ha ha. Is it a ha ha ha paintbrush?

CINDY

We have a winner.

Whitnee lifts up the blindfold to see the paintbrush.

WHITNEE

Boy this is ha ha fun.

CINDY

Y'all doin' good (stops brushing Whitnee's paw). Now this next one is easier.

WHITNEE

Great.

Whitnee puts the blindfold back on. We see a feather brushing against the sole of Whitnee's paws. Whitnee laughs again after feeling it.

CINDY

Can ya guess what it is this time?

WHITNEE

It ha ha feels nice and ha ha ha fuzzy. Is ha ha ha it a feather?

CINDY

Yup. Ten points for the ticklish squirrel.

Whitnee lifts the blindfold to see the feather tickling her paws.

CINDY

All right (stops tickling). Now fer the big challenge.

WHITNEE

I may (backs the blindfold back on) be able to guess this.

We see Whitnee starting to laugh when she felt something tickling her paws.

CINDY

All right. What's yer best guess?

WHITNEE

It ha ha ha feels pretty fuzzy. Is it ha ha ha a feather duster?

CINDY

Nope.

WHITNEE

Ha ha is it a big ha ha feather?

CINDY

Nope.

WHITNEE

Is ha ha ha it a bigger brush?

CINDY

Not quite.

Whitnee removes her blindfold.

WHITNEE

I give up what ha ha is it?

CINDY

It's my tail.

Whitnee sees Cindy tickling Whitnee's paws with her tail.

CINDY

Good try (stops tickling) though.

WHITNEE

That was a fun game.

CINDY

Knew y'all enjoy it.

They suddenly hear a cell phone beep.

WHITNEE

Oh I got a text.

She looks at her message.

WHITNEE

It's from my mom and Jade. They're home early and like to go out to a Chinese restaurant. I better get going Cindy. Thanks again for the fun game.

CINDY

No problem.

Whitnee walks out the door after waving to Cindy.

CINDY

I best go check on them horses and order the last Christmas presents.
