Light Interface Suit (LIF) - Originator of the term "Interface Suit" before the phrase broadened to include other suit types, causing it to later don the retronyms "Light" or "Base Interface Suit". Used as the foundation of all other IF types. Protects against low levels of harmful radiation - which largely includes sunburn -, against most harmful gases and liquids, and has g-suit capabilities allowing its user to withstand short term exposure to high gravity/high acceleration of up to 4-5g. Is worn as common apparel beneath uniforms and civvies.
