My contribution to Father's Day!

So, I never got the chance to meet my dad before he died earlier this year. My mom never got the chance to introduce us in my earlier years because of her ex-husband who raised me, who was very mentally and verbally abusive to us and never allowed my mom to talk about her past if he wasn't apart of it, and I wasn't able to meet him after we left because she was still in denial about me possible being his and she was scared of falling in love with him again. I don't blame my mom for any of this. His death has taken a huge toll on her even now. It's also taken one on me because I'll always have those what if questions. Worst part is it took me watching Raya and the Last Dragon when it came out for everyone to watch for free for it to actually sink in and cry. I now carry a necklace with his ashes in it around with me to keep the man I wish I'd met close to me. Miss ya, Dad and wish I could've met you.
