Sarkin is a T-Rex and leader of the mercenary band known as the Jurassic Syndicate. The group consists of all dinosaur members and is known for their professionalism, technical know-how, efficiency and depending on the job, brutality. The contracts they typically take range from brutal shock troop warfare to peace keeping missions. Each member of the group brings to the whole a varied knowledge in different fields and when something new is learned or another member is hired on they are required to teach the other's at least a basic knowledge of their profession. This way the teams that are formed know something about everything. If a true expert is needed in any field that member is assigned as the situation warrants.

The group is also known for their particular style of armor. Sarkin likes to be fierce and powerful but also quick if the need arises. Freedom of movement is something he holds very dear and it shows in his groups armor. Most of his men are trained immediately to be very quick and agile even if their bodies don't look like they would be. He likes to deceive his enemies by making it look like they are lumbering brutes but then they quickly move like a coordinated pack with an agility that is hard to match.

Sarkin employs a shoulder cannon that is capable of firing laser blasts with enough power to punch through tanks. Again the deceptive aspect plays well into even his weaponry. The targeting computer for the cannon is linked to his helmet so that wherever he looks the gun tracks and displays a HUD on his visor. For melee combat though, his impressive musculature and powerful jaws are more than a match for most opponents. There is talk that he actually is an augmented T-Rex cyborg because the force of his bite is way more powerful then what a normal (anthro) T-Rex should be capable of. One of his men swore that he saw Sarkin eating a piece of metal from a ship they had commandeered on one mission. The only one who knows the truth though is him and his XO, a Velociraptor known as Dagger. (pic of him to come).

Sarkin demands a lot from his men but he is fair as well. He is not a cruel tyrant but demands respect and that his troops obey lawful orders from their superiors. He is kind and compassionate when he needs to be and totally ruthless when the situation is needed. His men love him even though he pushes them to their limits. He cares a great deal for his troops but any member of his group who is seen killing innocents, civilians or non-com's is not only court-martialed but also stripped of their armor, weapons and dropped into a desolate wasteland filled with the bones of others who broke the groups code of honor. Most don't make it out alive. Those that do should be on the lookout though for any member of the Syndicate because they are given orders to kill on sight anyone who has been disgraced in such a manner.
