X and Zero have been captured and restrained within a strange lab they were investigating. Tied down to the tables by the metallic tentacles a single tentacle has interfaced with their head crystals and has penetrated into their neural network. Effectively beginning to reprogram them to do the mysterious entity's bidding. Obviously in a lot of pain they can only manage to scream as their personalities are rewritten and their neural systems rewired to comply.
