Another commission! Don't worry, I've got some non-commission related stuff coming out real soon.

This was another commission for b0mbsaway . This time, he wanted me to design a character who is a jester. It's not on my commissions page (though I'm always willing to try other kinds of artworks and work something out), but after this I'm actually considering making it an official part of it. I had so much fun with this one, y'all wouldn't believe. I forgot just how much I missed character design. It's one of my favourite things to do!!!

I probably had the most fun with the outfits. I went a little overboard, if you couldn't tell. The end result outfit is more historical based. I took inspiration from Renaissance era fashion, though no set decade. It's a mish-mash of 1500s-1600s fashion. I have a weakness for sashed sleeves and spiral lacing . For colours, I wanted to avoid red/black/white like the stereotypical female jester design (i.e. Harley Quinn), and we ended up deciding on a reddish orange/brown mix that I based on her eyes.

So yeah, overall I had tons of fun with this and would definitely be open to more character designing commissions in the future. Thank you to b0mbsaway another commission!
