Iberian wolf, made with faux fur, stuffing and some wire.I do not give out patterns, they are my lineart.

Looks too much like real fur, to me. Even faux fur is being found to be made from cat or dog hide, these days.

The purpose of Tissavel is to look like realistic fur, similar to its former competitor Tyber. It is, however, completely artificial. If there's any question, you can look at the backing of the fabric, which is woven, rather than being made of leather like an animal's would be. Β
The proceedings you heard of were clothing from China that was partially or completely made of raccoon dog, rabbit or cat skin and was labeled erroneously as faux fur! Β
I do not support real fur as a legitimate source of anything.

Yes, I just shaved it really close down to make them thin enough.
Other people use minky fabric or velvet.

Um, I bought the fur fabric at a fabric store while I was in Berkeley and haven't been able to get a good replacement since.
This one sold for 300 dollars, but one like it would be something like 260 if I simplified it a little.

No, the first one I made looks a lot worse. I've been steadily improving over time, but this one isn't exactly new. You can check my galleries for newer works (Some of them are the first, or only one of their species I've made, depending on commissioners of course)
