Description This idea was something that was actually inspired in me a very long time ago by one of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies... Howards End. Those of you who have seen it might remember the clerk Leonard Bast's all-night walk through the bluebells, and the way the memory of it stayed with him from then on. There were scenes later in the movie where he would be at work actually imagining that his clerk's desk was situated in the middle of that vast expanse of bluebells, his imagination becoming his escape from his humdrum surroundings. I thought it would be a lot of fun to take that same idea and do it my own way, as I sometimes like to do. This is Leonard Bast's modern day counterpart. Something tells me he's an imaginative being as well. Though he's reading the paper and sipping an ordinary cup of coffee on his break, the surroundings according to his imagination are anything but humdrum. Stock used to help create this piece come from ~Cobweb-stock for the business man and sxc for the background and the giant tortoise.

I'm studying the novel for college, but as yet I haven't had chance to see the film, but I really must.

I suppose he could have thought the tortoise was a big rock. I've seen them at zoos and mistaken them for such before.
