Description This is kind of something fun I felt like doing since Saint Patrick's Day was coming up. I wasn't feeling the whole leprechaun thing, or the rainbow with the pot of gold, so I decided to try a Lady Luck, here modeled after ~AngelCage-stock . I left some of the traditional cliche symbols of luck in there.... the shamrock, the coins, and the rabbit's feet. I went ahead and allowed myself to go crazy with the glow and the sparkle as I wanted her to look overly bright and blinding, as well as a little gaudy. I also added a small pair of horns to illustrate her fickle, impish nature.

My hair use to be like that until I went buck wild and chopped it off and dyed it black lol I think it's very pretty and I really like your work, I'm kinda hooked on myspace layouts and would like to use some of your stuff randomly, and of course I would link back and give you total credit, hell even praise! Is that alright?

XOXO

'Tis a funny thing how a rabbit's foot is deemed 'lucky'
when it certainly was not lucky for the rabbit.
Nice combinations of green (a favorite, no, the favorite of mine)
and, of course, the cinnamon (?) colored hair, green eyes.
Nice blending, great elements, nice piece

I believe it was because of some of the things rabits symbolized.... fertility, speed, magic. But you're right.... the rabbit wasn't so lucky at all.

My gosh.... are you always online ? Do you sleep sometimes ?? I was just kidding. Back to the talking of your deviation: Especially i like clover on lady's arm. It associates me lovely Ireland (I like british isles).
I have been viewing your gallery for a very long time (since i've open my own account here), but this artwork is ... just... noble. And I love it (I don't like when someone who is looking my gallery is telling me that he love my pictures, but with your is different and I have to say "I love your artwork", 'couse i really do !)

Oh.. by the way - sorry for my english, but i'm from poland and i/m still learning Cya... (I'm wainting for another great picture )

Best Wishes
- Georgiana

Hee hee.... I'm on-line a lot for sure, but sometimes I take long breaks. When I posted Lady Luck was probably the last time I was actually on here.

Thank you so much for your wonderful and heartfelt comment. That really meant a lot to me, and it makes me happy to know that some of what I do touches people this way.

Well, I find this a whole heck of a lot better then the leprechaun. Its extrodinary to view the many details you placed for this particular deviation. Not to mention how you organize it to be so illuminating. Absolutly amazing.

Thank you! I just kind of did this because I was bored and looking for something to do, but it turned into something I was rather proud of. Thinking of doing a companion to it, actually.

Yeah, hair is usually a toil. So much doodling with texture and colour and shine. Especially straight hair. Curly or frizzy hair you can always keep a bit crazy and gravity-defying.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

wolfmorphine In reply to Hera-of-Stockholm [2006-02-26 00:05:48 +0000 UTC]

I'm the exact opposite, I think. Straight hair is a bit easier for me, unless it's in some kind of elaborate style or something. Curly hair seems to take me forever.
