Naturally, I'm starting to look forward to Halloween right about now. I am also enjoying the last of the thunder showers we get here over the summer, and for a little while after. (In fact, I'm hoping one will show up later today.) These are the inspirations behind this piece... a simple depiction of a ghost going for a stroll in the rain along what was once her favorite walking path in life. I like to think she loved the rain as well and is remembering some of her favorite moments as she walks along. Stock used to help create this piece comes from *Lisajen-stock for the ghost and sxc for the background.Related content

I suppose I do tend to like a little touch of darkness to most of my work. Every once in a while I'll be in a fairy mood or something, but I'll probably always be a touch gothic at heart when it comes to art. And thank you so much... both for the comment and for missing me. It's good to be missed!

Yeah, thunderstorm season is almost over. Then it's a quiet few months until springtime again.
But I do get to look forward to grey skies and snow, so I'll survive until spring.
Depending on how fast the temperatures change, I might have snow within the next 3 to 5 weeks.
Nice work, she's pretty elegant and just floats thru the scenery. Not a clumsy dunce like normal people getting in the way of nature.

I love winter time, so I'm looking forward to the cooler weather and the snow as well. It's my favorite time of year by far. I'm kind of hoping my snow comes sooner rather than later this year! Last year we didn't get any until mid-January or something.

The forcast is not good for the NorthEast, it's going to be normal to below normal this year.
The Midwest and Northwest should get a little more than normal, the rest get less than normal amounts of winter precipitation.
I'm close enough to Lake Erie that I get lake effect snow, so I hope to get some before Turkey Day.
