Description
An attempt at some sort of pin up art. Thought I'd try something magical and... firey. Some flames were made using the Le-Rain's Smoke brushes.Related content

shoulder she's looking over is funky...the colors and shades on her body made her look very smooth best way I know how to describe it (so good job there) and I love the way her facial expression matches her body language (good job)... my suggestion would be to work on her hair a bit though.... sorry this is so late but I haven't felt very up to critiqueing (sp) lately...

Hey thanks for critique, it's still of great use to me. I need another perspective on my work especially when I'm so easily distracted. So I appreciate your effort as always, more to come.

Whoot! This is gorgeous. I love the lines and the attitude. My inner color theory nerd wants to comment, but I shall quash her and simply say "excellent use of complements and ratios."
A little technical advice: instead of using a whole bunch of lines for hair, try a base color and then layering more colors over the top. Here's a tutorial I found incredibly useful: [link]
And on an anatomical note: Her shoulders. If I look at the near one, the far one looks too high. If I look at the far one, the near one way too low. I think maybe pick the near one up a little bit and lengthen her upper arm. Maybe shorten the far upper arm a tad. But don't get too carried away. Her hands are awesome (tad bumpy near the outer edge near pinky fingers), and so expressive. Matches her expression on her face. I'm not entirely sure about that really bright spot under her near arm, unless that's to hide a nice round breast... In which case, I'm not so sure a brightly glowing rack is a good idea. 0_o Oh, and try softening your outlines! She's awesome, but she looks like she might have fallen out of the original Legend of Zelda game and is slightly 8-bit.
Overall, good job! More!

Whoot! Thanks, I think I need to paint with a higher resolution on my canvas, should fix the problem with the 8-bit issue. I agree with both you and Maghan that her right shoulder is overly exaggerated. I shall try again with a different element.
