Description
This is the Opera Ghost, aka the Phantom of the Opera. Not sure if he belongs in Fantasy or People since he's a fictional character.This is done for an illustration course I have.

Original is lost and found, thankfully. It is actually a couple of inches longer at the bottom but they're just black ink mostly. Since I have a digital camera now, I'll take a better and fuller slide of it and upload that so I can let people have the print option if they want a copy of it.

Mmh... gorgeous. Loving the fog everywhere, how intensly formal he stands there in the street. Like the way you ballance the light in the image as well. And simply how well it's painted, on top of everything else.

wow, what a great piece of illustrative work,
and it suits the phantom so well- it has the darkness but also the fact that he has emotion too and was/is human (i have never seen the phantom of the opera but my mum insighted me on it after she had gone.)
I love the use of light and dark and the way you can just make out the deformity of his skin underneath the mask.
so very atmospheric, its a definate favourite for me.
