Description
all cleaned up and looking pretty! ^_^ *is pleased* this turned out well, made me feel better too. i'll probably try and do another today, especially since this took all of about 2 or 3 hours. *pleasedpleasedpleased* mmm. anyway, if i start doing commissions this is the amount of detail I'll be striving for.didn't scan terribly well i'm realizing. the colours aren't the same here as they are on the original. pity.
the stages before this are in my scraps.

Another thing you can do... after ya scan something, most of the time you get this little pop-up thingie when its finished, and you can edit the picture and darken it a little... that's what I always did to get the best out of the scanned picture.

Scanners tend to eat up colored pencil like that. Not much can be done about that other than playing with the smudge tool in photoshop. I really like the detail you put into this. Makes your character look more real. Probably takes much more time to do, but I'd recommend to try that again sometime. Personally, it wasn't until I started sitting down to my art and spending more time on it that I really started making progress on it. If you keep going like this, your work could see some real improvement.

yeah, just need to spend two or three hours on every piece. which, truthfully, i wouldn't mind at all. it was satisfying. ^_^

Then you are much faster than I, my fellow artist. I've learned for me to make something look half decent, I have to spend about an average of 16 hours on it. This may or may not include the 3-4 hours it takes me to color it. So yeah, if you can do 3 hours, that's awesome.

*falls over* wow! well, that was in the moment of inspiration so it's almost like cheating. any other time it would take me at least twice as long.

I don't know how your domestic dogs might look. Just trying to give you some inspiration by suggesting to try something new.

Actually, you probably picked one of the best canine breeds that would match your style. I look forward to seeing how they come out, if you decide to end up doing them.

I was up to 10 or 11 before I lost track of it, but I would like to go back and watch the rest of it. It's one of the few anime series that has held my attention long enough to actually want to follow it.
The series is actually on Cartoon Network and runs every Saturday night, but I'm not sure what episode # they are on now.

LoL I tormented myself with eagerness by looking at all the work in progresses xD and the final copy is excellent! *wild applause* By the way, since a scanner uses such a bright light to scan things, the colors will always be different, no matter what type of scanner you used. Just so ya know.
