I thought I'd try a short MLP comic. Something so cute seems a natural for my art, so I figured it'd be fun. And it was.
Here, Fluttershy thinks her new friend "Harry" (Hairy, get it?) is adorably cute. And as a tarantula owner myself, I agree with her! XD However, not everyone shares our adoration of hairy things with lots of legs. I thought Rarity would be the one who would be most freaked out by a giant spider, no matter how cute. But of course, she still tries to stay polite.

I do not get why so many people dislike tarantulas. They're awesome.

Tarantula are one of the few spiders I do like. They are easy to see/identify and they are usually pretty docile.

Β MY GOD! Replace Rarity with me and I would move out of Ponyville or I'd just run away fast because there is no way in Tartarus am I gonna stay in the same place with a giant spider, no matter how harmless and trained it is! Sorry if I offend you but I've been having arachnophobia ever since I watched "8 Legged Freaks" when I was about 8 years old. (shudders at horrible moments)
