Description Stuff from my 2nd class.

#1 is, uh, on the right. The picture is supposed to be horizontal, but I couldn't be bothered to add that much empty space to this deviation. So first came the peppers. And mine look absolutely retarded. Srsly. Then came the bokchoy, which turned out pretty ok IMHO. The luobo aka the root vegetable which none of us really know how to define in english things were last. The one on the left is my first attempt and is ugly. The second one came out better. Mine look like turnips lol.

#2 is the actual calligraphy. So first we practiced the vertical line + hook (shu + gou). And mine look kinda crappy, to be honest. Then we practiced the word yong which means "forever" in Chinese. This word contains all of the strokes in a basic format, so it's often used to get a sense of how good your calligraphy is. If master calligraphers were to compete, they would write this word. The one with the next to it is the one my teacher started writing. I think mine look ok for a beginner's.

xD It's not like I spend THAT long. I just take breaks between words and pause between strokes.
