My pleasure! 30-30 has become one of those lost favorites! I had almost forgotten about the show until out shopping last year or so.

I guess someone got the idea to give the show and a lot of other old Filmation shows a go on DVD ^.^

And for that, I'm glad. Filmation did a pretty good job with what they had to work with and in the time frame they worked. Plus the "censorship" of the Eighties.

Filmation did have some of the better action cartoons on the air at the time ^.^

That they did and they also did some of the best backgrounds and often ventured into areas that most cartoons wouldn't dream of. I mean the Space Sentenials had the first woman leader and she was black to boot!

I remember when it was called Young Sentinels but yeah, they did.
Ya know, part of me wants to buy the collected set but I'm afraid to ^.^;

They went from being Young Sentinels to Space Sentinels because the network got its panties in a wad. Let's see ... according to the booklet, it debuted on September 10th, 1977 (my ninth birthday!) as Young Sentinels and then was changed on November 12th of the same year ... NBC renamed it, but it's not told why.
