AWESOME!!!!

Which Sculpey did you use? I'm fond of the flesh colored one. It's a bit more smooth and more workable, but it's hard for me to use Sculpey now.  You're not sculpting as much as pushing the material around sometimes, so that is something I miss.

I have learned if you use a softener for the Sculpey and rubbing alcohol you can slightly simulate the effects of using a more conventional medium.

Nothing beats good old clay though, but I love the speed and efficiency of Sculpey!

Thank you much!
I used a mixture of the soft flesh colored stuff on the larger shapes, and the firm grey stuff on the parts that required more detail.
I did use a bit of rubbing alcohol too, but mostly to smooth out the surfaces. I also made a small cutting tool out of a loop of fine wire which also helped mimic the feeling of using more traditional sculpting mediums.

Yeah, I've done that. I like the ease of use and quick turn around of sculpey. I've been thinking of making small sculptures to mold and cast to see if I can sell small Heavy sculptures at cons.

That's something I would like to try too. I haven't ever made a mold using Sculpey before (only with ceramics). Not sure how it works. It would be fun to play around with though.

There are some mold and cast kits I purchased at an art store that I'm itching to try. There are some good DIY videos on YouTube.

I need to look those up! That would be really fun to mess around with. It might help with some of the texture issues too.
