Description
sorry it took so long to unload something, been insane with holidays and the flu.anyway, for x-mas my girflfriend got me todd nauck's sketchbook and i loved it, with in its pages where a forest scene with one of his characters, and i loved it, wanted to try my hand at it, but with Clockwork Jones as the star.
putting the finishing touches on the changes that needed to be made for Ka-Blam digital comics to get it ready, and then i got to wait like 3 weeks for see how it comes out, before i put it up for sale and stuff, giving me time to work on issue 2.
loved the way the pic came out, something about a nazi werewolf really works for me thinking it might be a good villian for him to fight in a issue. The nazi frankenstein monster with a beany propeller hat....well that just makes me laugh.
hope you like
other clockwork jones pics and his bio

Hmm...for some strange reason, I see a barely-there resemblance to Ben Grimm...but then, I suppose it's hard to do any sort of a "rock-skinned" character and not have a small amount of resemblance!
But this looks great, and I really like the style.

thanks for the kind words, you're not the only one who thinks they see a resemblance to the thing, but i cant see it myself.
if i known he was gonna get so much attention i would have just drawn Ben in the first place.
again thanks for the comment

I think it's mostly the eyebrow area looking a little like Ben's that does it. That was the first thing I thought myself -- it's hard to do a rock eyebrow and not make it look a LITTLE like a Grimm echo...
You could draw Ben as a stand-alone! Would look nice.

sorry no, it's not 'The Thing' of Fantastic Four fame. he's just a generic rock demeon thing, i can see where people got the idea, but come on he's way too small.
but im glad you liked it

Love that you snuck Ben in there - AND RIGHT NEXT to my favorite movie monster of all time, the Frankenstein monster.
One would think there'd be some empathy between Jones and Frankenstein.
(I've decided it's all right to call the monster Frankenstein. After all, he is the son/creation of the Baron's.)
Have you seen Rob Zombie's pseudo trailer for Werewolf Women of the SS? Werewolves and Nazis go together like popcorn and soda at a movie.

never thought about it but, yeah there could be something there with the whole empathy thing, maybe a whole issue on that alone.
thanks for the idea
i gotta check out that trailer.
