The 40's where a time of colorful clad heroes, Turbine was the king of all the mystery men and they took their lead from him. One that stood toe to toe with him when it came to dedication and resolve was the Crusader. A patrol cop who donned a masked to put away the crooks that the law couldn’t touch. all was going well, until the crusader stumbled across the Shadow Cult a dark society bent on bringing something from the depths of the abyss to destroy mankind. While trying to stop them the Crusader found himself mortally wounded and with his dying breath pulled the dark monster they unleashed back into the void of the underworld with him before setting off a series of explosions.

Now 70 yrs later he finds himself unexpectedly back in the land of the living, yet with no idea why. only this time he is not a part of it. He is a specter, a phantom warrior who knows the land of the dead and the creatures that live there. A ghost champion made of smoke, able to make his hands take form of any objects he desires and can only become solid for moments at a time.

Bound by fate to protect and defend the world of men from demons and danger as the Phantom Crusader.
