cutest things ever!! I have a group I feed that I like to call my lil "squirrel posse". My main lil dude is Sam I have sum pics up in my gallery. I spend more money on food for them then myself at times, im such a sap. They keep me company up here in the woods where we live .. amongst the other creatures like black bears, etc. The bears of course I do not feed.... I know my limit haha.

Awww! It's so cute! I know my chinchilla loves getting a good old scratching. But I never knew they were comfortable/okay with lying on their backs? He must have been really trusting.

not when im around...but when shes sleeping you can see her on her side with her legs stretched. once i saw her cuddling her little toy while she was asleep!

That's what my chinchilla does too! He used to get up whenever he heard me coming, but nowadays, he lets me pet him in the side. (Let me tell you, it took quite a while for him to trust me with that one!) Haha, but that's the thing with chinchillas. They're always full of surprises and just when you think "Is that all they can do?," they'll trust you even more.
