I bought a 16x24 print of this photo from you maybe five years ago or so. It's in a prominent place in my little house and everyone always comments on how much they love it. I do too--I never get tired of seeing it. I have a special squirrel friend here that lets me feed her by hand--a little native pacific northwest Douglas squirrel. Love them. Thanks for sharing this wonderful photo.

Can squirrels really be domesticated? I mean, wouldn't they still be wild even if they were? He could randomly decide to attack somebody while wearing that sweater...lol.

yep. we suspect she is still -- this years after we let her go out into the wild. probably 5 times a week she'll come knocking on our window asking for nuts and etc.

AWWW! <3 We raised two squirrels once. ;w; They were so cute. I love how they purr, and climb all over you~ We eventually released them though. I'm sure they wouldn't have bitten us or anything. They hung around our house for years...
