Description
For anyone who's never heard of the artist "Love and Peace on Planet Rainworld"... they make a lot of drawings based on the game Rainworld, especially its most popular characters/player characters: a group of eight slugcats. They paired up the Hunter and the Artificier- two aggressive slugcats... in a slap-slap-kiss manner. I couldn't help but think that Scanner and Riot would have a similar relationship dynamic... lots of arguing, and/or sparring, interspersed with romantic gestures and moments of affection. I assume that at least the romance part would be pretty tricky to pull off without directly expressing emotions... especially if Talon's mind control is strict. I suppose they'd have to be acting largely subconsciously, or else having the odd rosy memory of their underlying relationship pop up in order for the "kiss" part of a slap-slap-kiss dynamic to work...
