I've been soo eager to show you this map but had to hold off until it was perfect. It's definitely one of my favourite maps so far.I was commissioned by Vyacheslav from wiki.iorc.ru who are a community of world builders using a wiki to collaborate on one single world. It's been a great project to work on and Vyacheslav provided brilliant feed back after every revision.

It's simple, one the basic rule of creating a world and naming it is to used real locations, you find small town or area most people don't know and that the language fit your culture.

Except Namibia isn't a small town or area, it's the size of Texas. Using it is lazy and thinking of it as small and unimportant is insulting.

I've actually been commissioned by the same client to draw a more detailed scale map of the central continent. So that's quite exciting.
