Is it just me, or does Ichigo seem to get all dull and mopey if Rukia doesn't kick the shit through him every once in awhile?Pretty self explanatory really.
Ok, this has actually been sitting on my computer since thursday (that's right, before I even started the last Bleach one), but dA's been making my life difficult, so it hasn't been posted till today. Yes, it's something a bit different from usual. Still, I had to stop short of putting little love hearts in the final frame.... that would have been just a little too far outside my small box of explosives and BP Ultimate for comfort
Anyways, have fun all.

BTW I'm finally trying backgrounds more.. simple ones at least for now. I still find it incredibly difficult to make things look like they are far behind the main focus.

Good to hear. If you're having trouble with making stuff look far away, have you tried throwing some perspective lines into the drawing? You don't have to stick to the rigidly, but they may help with positioning of stuff and with giving an idea of scale.

hmm, well that sounds like a good idea except that I'm not even sure how "perspective lines" would go. I was simply trying to make a wall once and it looked so very wrong that I ended up beating my head against the desk. (and that didn't feel very good.)
How I've started off is using backgrounds from pictures I've taken and making them anime-style. Of course that will not always be possible, but it has really helped me with making an amateurish background. It turned out pretty good though I think. Maybe once I post it you'll let me know what you think?

Hey I happen to like your foregrounds. (that sounded wrong didn't it.. LOL) Especially in action. I always seem to draw people as if they are posing. Plus you can draw guns and vehicles and all this other cool stuff that I'm just lost on. 
That would be great if I could send you the final product before I post it. That way if you see something blaringly wrong about it I can change it.
