Blondes dyeing their hair with a darker shade ‘coz they think being a brunette is better, while some born with dark hair dye their hair either gold or platinum because they think blonde is sexier.

Caucasians spending hours getting a tan because they want to get darker, while those with darker skin use just about anything to get “bleached” because those beauty ads say that whiter is better.

Some want bigger boobs, while some wish theirs were smaller.

Is it human nature to be never contented?

These were the things I had in mind when I conceptualized the character who would personify one of the 7 sins: ENVY. I ended up creating a woman with a split personality: LITERALLY. She wears blonde, straight hair on one side; dark, wavy hair on the other. It’s more than just the hair, and she never stops “evolving”. She sees it, she does something to have it.

I’d love to work on this mature-themed project (that never saw print) again, given the time and opportunity. For those who still haven’t seen the cover I posted sometime ago, check this out: [link]
